Positive Psychology and High Performing Workplaces
Since optimism can be taught and learned, this session will support Workplace Learning Professionals in applying the core principles of positive psychology through the scientific studies and practical activities presented by Janet that can immediately be applied at their workplaces. Through this session, Janet will be meeting the core competencies of workplace learning and performance, improving human performance, and facilitating organizational change.

Janet’s presentation content and practical activities, if applied at the workplace, can support the development of a culture that respects individuals and draws on their unique strengths to enhance the work they do. Research studies show that this can actually improve work performance. The content presented by Janet is solidly supported by numerous scientific articles as well as books by positive psychology researchers and practitioners. However, the presentation brings these to life and will give participants tools to apply at their workplace.
