You’ve heard of speed dating – now get ready for speed networking! Like most chapter members, you probably consider the opportunity to network a key reason to join ASTD. But chapter meetings devoted to other great topics often leave little time for building your network. This month’s meeting is devoted to nothing else! A few lightning activities will focus on the benefits and perils of networking. Then we’ll launch into a speed networking event that will connect you with an amazing number of other attendees. You’ll leave the meeting with a whole new outlook on networking, and a whole new list of great contacts! Be sure to bring business cards if you have them, or even simple slips of paper with your contact information to share.
