Why is communication so often an "elephant in the room" when managers and executives gather?
Trendy management models are often popular in the workplace, but managing is about moving people to get things done, and that requires the effective use of language.
This session focuses on how managers can use language in everyday interactions to inspire their teams. We will examine three important skills: managing difficult conversations, delivering feedback effectively, and being transparent. These skills are all forms of motivational communication, and are key to influencing individuals, teams, and organizations.
