Mina plans a state-wide conference for faculty within UMS entirely using distance technologies. She is a published author, including an academic title in the field of social presence theory and design patterns for distance modalities. In addition, she also teaches online writing courses for several campuses in the University of Maine System, including UMPI's new competency-based undergraduate program.
