PROGRAM
With so much dynamic information available, and so little time to learn, we need to be much more proactive in how we deliver the right content, at the right level of detail, to the right people, at exactly the right time.
The new ATD competency model defines the latest competencies needed for success across the entire TD industry. Knowledge Management – the systematic gathering, organizing, and sharing information – is one of those key competencies.
As a learning professional, you have a key role in knowledge management and may be called upon to participate in some activities critical to the success of any knowledge management initiative, including serving as a facilitator and trainer in the implementation of new systems and processes designed to manage organizational knowledge.
Join KM leader Ben Duffy from Unum for a presentation and discussion of how consistent development, review, and delivery of explicit knowledge assets promote learning retention, improved performance, and employee engagement; as well as, how an environment of structured knowledge sharing supports the enhancement of authoritative knowledge.
OUR PRESENTER
Ben Duffy leads knowledge management and online learning efforts for Unum’s Benefits Center.
Ben has been leading Information Technology efforts since 1990 and started in the eLearning field in 2000 working for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Fairchild Semiconductor and Unum.
Registration is required by the end of day Wednesday prior to the event.
Weather Policy: In the event of bad weather, if the Falmouth schools are closed, the event will be cancelled.
